Netgate 1537 pfSense+ Security Gateway
The Netgate® 1537 Security Gateway with pfSense® Plus software is ideal for medium and large enterprise data centers or server rooms. It features a 1.7 GHz Intel® Xeon® D-1537 processor with 8 cores and 16 threads, AES-NI support, dual 10 Gbps SFP+ ports, and dual 1 Gbps RJ-45 ports. An optional CPIC-8955 cryptographic acceleration card with QAT (QuickAssist Technology) can be added to offload encryption processing and improve VPN performance.
Additional expansion options include a 2- or 4-port Intel 10 GbE card to add SFP+ ports or a 4-port Intel 1 GbE card for additional RJ45 ports. RAID configurations and high-availability options make the Netgate 1537 an excellent choice for high-throughput and/or mission-critical deployments. With the 1.7 GHz Intel Xeon® octa-core processor, memory expandable up to 32 GB, and expandable network interfaces (up to 8 ports), the Netgate 1537 delivers routing performance up to 18.8 Gbps.

Network Ports: Expandable up to 8 network ports. The Netgate 1537 comes with (2) integrated 10 GbE SFP+ WAN/LAN ports on the SoC, (2) 1 GbE LAN/WAN ports via Intel i350-AM2, and supports adding a 4-port Intel 1 GbE RJ45 expansion card or a 2- or 4-port Intel X710 SFP+ 10 GbE card.
Storage: 500 GB M.2 SSD
Memory: 8 GB DDR4 RAM (expandable up to 32 GB ECC). DDR4 memory provides more stable and faster transfers for memory-intensive applications (e.g., IDS/IPS). Hardware flexibility allows memory upgrades up to 32 GB at any time, making the appliance future-proof.
