The Netgate® 4100 with pfSense® Plus software is one of the most versatile security gateways in its class. It combines the power of a Dual-Core Intel® Atom® C3558 CPU with integrated QuickAssist and AES-NI, along with 4 GB of memory, delivering a smooth user experience and over 8.15 Gbps L3 routing across six independent flexible WAN/LAN ports – (2) 1 GbE and (4) 2.5 GbE.
The Netgate 4100 is ideal for pro-home environments, small/medium businesses, or edge deployments that require flexible port configurations to support WAN capacities from 1 to 2.5 Gbps via (2) combo WAN ports (RJ45 copper / SFP fiber) and (4) discrete 2.5 GbE LAN RJ-45 ports – all in a quiet desktop design.
Thanks to its fanless design, the device is suitable for desktop, wall, or rack installations. Factory-installed with pfSense® Plus software, it is ideal for a wide range of firewall, VPN, and edge-level routing scenarios.
